ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hello, I'm J. Lewis-Thompson, known to family, friends and some of my readers as Jaki. I was born in North Wales, and I'm passionate about the area. We moved to the West Midlands when I was a child, and now live and write in the Black Country. I try to visit 'home', which is Denbigh, just a short hop from Anglesey, and the surrounding countryside as often as I can.
I've always been interested in the Psychology of Crime and what leads the perpetrators to commit heinous acts. One of my favourite books as a young child was 'Holiday Camp Mystery', by Margaret A Cole, which I won in a competition on holiday at Butlin's. It contained suggestions of Paranormal elements and captivated me completely.
I became a Student when I studied for a Degree in Complementary Medicine at the ripe old age of 50! The others in the class mistook me for the lecturer on our first day. The theory of Energy and Quantum Physics soon fascinated me... I'm still learning.
The Ellie Shaw series is based in and around Anglesey and North Wales, with some of my favourite places featuring in the stories.
